Lawrence ''Ronnie” Ronald Golay, Jr.

Ronnie was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 29,1965 to his parents Terri & Lawrence Golay Sr. He was the oldest of five children. Ronnie had a passion for music and was an amazing guitar player. He was an extreme jokester and always filled the room with love, life and laughter. He had an unspoken love for his children, grandchildren and family.  On April 15,2024 at 8:57pm Ronnie passed away at IU Methodist Health Hospital peacefully while listening to his favorite song. 

Ronnie will be deeply missed by his children Travis (Christy) Golay, Heather (James) Arthur(mother Frances Richard), Tabitha Carson (Thomas), Andrew Carson (Ashley), Donald Carson, his parents Terri & Lawrence ”Ron” Golay Sr., his sibling Kathy (David) Hagan, Keith (Tonya) Golay, Brian Golay, Amanda Golay, His grandchildren  Travis Golay Jr, Madison Willoughby, Mckaya Arthur, Ashlynn Arthur, James Arthur Jr, Devon Tackett, Caidyn Pavey, Ethan Pavey, Jaeshawn Jordan, Sophia Carson, Aubrey Carson, Andrew “Babyboy” Carson. He also has numerous nieces, nephews and friends that will deeply miss him as well. 

Ronnie is proceeded in death by Rebeccalena Golay (Wife), Carol Golay (Second Wife) Alexander Carson (Grandson), Shane Kernodle (Nephew), Phillip & Violet Golay (Paternal Grandparents), Lester & Betsy Sweeney (Maternal Grandparents) 

Service for Ronnie will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2024, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with calling from 12:00p.m. until the time of service.  Online condolences and words of comfort maybe offered at www.chancefuneralhome.com
