Harold G. Goltz

Harold G. Goltz, 47, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at his home.

Harold was born on December 23, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Sheila Goltz.  He married Barbara Gerth on July 12, 2008, in Indianapolis.  She survives.

He is also survived by a step-daughter- Olivia McKay of St. Paul, North Carolina; two brothers- Kevin Egan of Davenport, Iowa and George McDonald of Swansea, Illinois; sister- Michelle (Ernie) Myers of Joliet, Illinois; uncle- Dave (Julie) Skelton of Indianapolis; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Harold worked for 15 years at HD Supply.  He enjoyed going to concerts, shopping and hanging out with family and friends.  Harold was a very loving husband and father.

A Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, March, 18, 2019, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Boyd officiating.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.  According to his wishes cremation rites will follow the services.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.  The family has entrusted the Norman F.
