Karen Mae Nolan, 72, of Greenwood, passed away at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Community South Hospital.
Karen was born on September 7, 1946, in Greencastle, Indiana, the daughter of Rollie and Hazel (Freeman) Coffman. She is survived by two daughters- Tammy Stewart of Franklin and Jennifer (Scott) Perdue of Indianapolis; one son- Michael (Tracy) Gorham of Whiteland; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers-Larry Coffman of Kentucky, Gary Coffman of Greencastle, Indiana and Donnie (Angie) Coffman of Greencastle, Indiana; two sisters- Shirley Williams of Greencastle and Mary Truesdale of Brazil, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
Karen enjoyed playing bingo and cards and watching TV, especially Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and American Idol.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Following the visitation cremation rites will be accorded. The family has entrusted the Norman F. Chance Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Karen’s life.
