Niles Hanshew

Niles Hanshew passed away at his home on October 3, 2017.
 He retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier at the Southport Branch P.O.
He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and finally got to visit Wrigley Field to watch his first live game last season with all four of his sons his son-n-law and a couple of his grandsons. He also enjoyed gambling, playing poker and his weekly hearts game.
 He was survived by his wife Peggy Hanshew his five children Penny  and John Hoagland, Jeff Hanshew, Dennis Hanshew, Thomas and Donna Hanshew, and Randy Hanshew. His grandchildren Candace, John John, Nick, Thaao, Aaron, Dustin, Brandi, Holly, Brittney, Mariah and Houston. Great grand kids Nevaeh, Nehemiah, Oliver, Zoey, Beatrice, Haedyn, Elijah, and Evander.
He was preceded in death by his mother Clara Russell and his brother Norman Hanshew.
Viewing will be held at New Life Tabernacle Church, 1609 E. Norton Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana on Monday October 9, 2017 between 4:00 and 8:00. Funeral service will be held at the Church Tuesday October 10 at 11:00.
