Richard Humphrey Obituary

Richard Roscoe Humphrey, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018, at Roudebush VA Medical Center, in Indianapolis.

Richard was born on August 12, 1952, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Delbert and Gloria (Oliver) Humphrey. He was previously married to Connie (Brown) Norman. She survives.

He is also survived by one daughter- Megan Humphrey of Indianapolis; one son- Brian Wilkins Sr. of Terre Haute; special nephew- Eric Staggs of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; three brothers; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son- Richard Wilkins.

Richard served in the United States Army and Navy from 1973 to 1976. He was a member of the Speedway Moose Lodge. He enjoyed going to the race tracks, being a jokester and loved sports.

According to his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. There will not be any services scheduled at this time. The family has entrusted the N.F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service to assist them in honoring Richard’s life.
