Anthony "Tony" Sawyer

Anthony “Tony” Sawyer, 43, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 16, 2021. He was born July 26, 1977, in Indianapolis to Allen L. and Debbie S. Sawyer, Sr..

Tony loved his family. His 4 kids were his whole world, his brother was his best friend and his parents were his heart. He was a hard worker and always proud of it. He loved music, always wanting to show you a song. Often times you could catch him with a Coors in his hand and always with a smile on his face. His laugh was the kind of laugh that makes you laugh too. He had the biggest heart and loved so deeply and was loved so deeply. He will live on forever through the amazing memories he left with all of us. Tony enjoyed music and working. He worked as a carpenter for several years with PCI Construction Company. Tony was known as “The Mayor” because he knew everyone.

Tony is survived by his parents Allen L. and Debbie S. Sawyer, Sr.; children Anthony Sawyer, Ashlyn Sawyer, Kaden Sawyer and Kylie Sawyer; grandson Jack Sawyer; and brother Allen Sawyer Jr.

Services for Tony will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Norman F. Chance Funeral home and Cremation Service, 504 National Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday. Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center will be assisting in the arrangements.
