Betty Jean (Bickers) Hussion, 94 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 28, 1927 to the late Herman W. and Cleste E.(Seamon)  Bickers.

Betty was a life member of St. Roch Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was a cook in the school cafeteria, while her children attended school there. She worked at the airport for TSA, and was a USO girl where she met many boyfriends. Betty loved to gamble, playing the slot machines and traveling all over the world. She enjoyed winters in Moorehaven, Florida near Okeechobee, Florida.  Her late husband was a gardner and she enjoyed cooking and canning. She was crafty, making designer lawn chairs with webbing. Her favorite shows to watch were General Hospital and Guiding Light.

Survivors include her loving children; Alan E. Hussion, Jr. and  Melissa J. Finley; grandsons; Christopher Hier and Jonathan Finley; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, Alan E. Hussion, Sr. and her five siblings.

Visitation will be held at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 6:00 pm., until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Michael Pratt, officiating.
