Connie Irene (Roberts) Hickey

Connie Irene Hickey of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2022 at the age of 69. Connie was born on August 5, 1952 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Gilbert Palmer, and Alice Palmer whom survives.

She was a graduate of Manual High School. Connie absolutely loved and adored spending time with her grandchildren, and loved making new memories on family vacations.

Connie is survived by her faithful and loving husband, Jeff Hickey; her two sons, Timothy (Mary) Hickey, and Bradley (Jenna) Hickey; her mother, Alice Palmer; brothers, Gilbert "Sonny" (Connie) Palmer, Jimmy (Lisa) Palmer, and Scott (Shannon) Palmer; sister, Brenda (Tim) Hawkins; and her beloved grandchildren, Kaleigh Harden, Kaleb Hickey, Peyton Hickey, Kaylynn Hickey, Jackson Short, and Lilly Short.

She was proceded in passing by her son, Howard Nathan Tidd; father, Gilbert Palmer, brother, Ralph Palmer; and daughter-in-law, Natasha Hickey.

Funeral services for Connie will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Josh Palmer officiating.

Calling will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. with additional calling on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m..

Graveside Services will be held on April 19, 2022 following the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Hop Cemetery, in Campbellsburg, Indiana.

Final Arrangements have been entrusted to, and handled by Norman F. Chance Funeral Home.
