Dennis Ray Hawkins Sr. passed away in the early evening of September 17, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 29, 1967 to James Hawkins Sr. and Betty May (Campbell) Hawkins. He was self employed as a dry wall installer.

Dennis is survived by his children; Dennis “DJ” Hawkins Jr. (Jessica Lynn Wright), Shawn Hawkins, Brittany Zechel; siblings James Albert Hawkins Jr. (Lou), Diana Welch (Tom); mother Betty M. Hawkins; grandchildren Renee, Keyan, Karmen, Dennis III, Londynn, Korbin, and one on the way. Dennis was preceded in passing by his father James Hawkins Sr.

Funeral Service for Dennis will be 2:00p.m., Monday, September 28, 2020 at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with calling from Noon until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
