Fred Strong

Fred Strong, 86, of Indianapolis passed away December 5, 2020. He was born September 27, 1934 in Hardburly, Kentucky to the late June and Lillian (Swanner) Strong.

Fred is survived by his children; Cindy Strong Smith (Wendell), Randy Strong (Allison) and Roberta Yates; siblings Eloise Hembree and Jim Strong; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in passing by his son Freddy Strong; sibling Ernestine Murphy, Kenneth Strong, Paul Strong, Talman Strong, Jackie Strong, and Martha Knight.

Service for Fred will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. National Avenue, Indianapolis with calling from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley.
