Gloria Lou (Hoagland) Herald

Gloria Lou Herald, 78, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 30, 2021 at IU Health West Hospital. She was born June 4, 1942, in Indianapolis to the late Daniel and Bernice Hoagland. Gloria was married to James Edward Herald, for 13 years until his passing on July 12, 2019. They were married on June 10, 2006 in Indianapolis. Gloria was a member of West Parkview Baptist Church. She worked for Canterburg Village doing laundry services for 10 years.

Gloria is survived by her children Patricia Walker, Corina Eilert, Nelson Gary, Elaine Romonchik, Denise Gary, James Gary, Cindy Gary, Mary Jo Breck, Jeannie Fisher, Janice Gary, and Harry Gary; siblings Dolly Faye, Virginia, Mary, Betty, Daniel Richard II, John, Rex, Alan Ladd, Edwin Lee, Michael and Josephine. She is preceded in passing by her parents Daniel Richard Hoagland Sr. and Bernice (Lowden) Hoagland; husband James Edward Herald; daughter Rebecca Huchinson; sister Vera Gladys; brothers Ralph and Danie Hoagland.

Services for Gloria will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Calling will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery. Singleton Community Mortuary will be assisting in the arrangements.
