Gloria Jean Sozos

Gloria Jean Sozos, 82, of Greenwood, passed away at 1:47 a.m. August 3, 2018, at Community Hospital South.

She was born on December 22, 1935, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Michael and Concetta Demetrus.  She married Georgehos Sozos in New York City.  He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son- Michael (Janki) Sozos of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son-Nicholas Sozos.

Gloria was a member of the Senior Citizens Club in Greenwood.  She enjoyed drawing, gardening, singing and organizing parties.

A Celebration of Gloria Sozos Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis.  She will be laid to rest following the services in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.   Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.  The family has entrusted the Norman F.
