Harold E LaFara

Harold E. LaFara, 93, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 17, 2021. He was born June 5, 1927 to the late Ezra LaFara and Sylvia Gladys Kephart. Harold was married to Helen E. (Wencke) LaFara for 70 years, they were married March 5, 1950 in Indianapolis. He was a car inspector for Sears Roebuck & Co. for several years. Harold was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church.

Harold is survived by his children Caroline Wyatt, Marilyn McCool and Glenn LaFara (Delinda); ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He is preceded in passing by his wife Helen LaFara, his parents, brother Victor (Esther) LaFara, and sisters Eileen (Albert) Alexander and Helen (Gerald) Burrows.

Services for Harold will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday, Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center will be assisting in the arrangements.
