James "Rick" Fredrick Wright

James "Rick" Fredrick Wright, 66 passed away at his residence on June 7, 2024.

He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 8, 1958 to the late Harold Teak Wright and Mary (Dausch) Wright.

Rick was a retired plumber for Whitinger Plumbing Co. A high school graduate and a member of the Baptist Church.

 He enjoyed camping, boating, riding dirt bikes & 4-wheelers’; He enjoyed building custom sand rails; He also enjoyed working on cars; He enjoyed watching his boys follow in his footsteps; He enjoyed fishing and as he got older he was just happy to watch his sons and grandkids having a good time.

Surviving Family: Leaves behind his 4 sons, Harold (Rocky) Wright, Indianapolis; James/Jamie Wright, Indianapolis ; Jason Wright, Indianapolis ; Travis (Crystal) Wright, Indianapolis. He leaves behind 9 Grandchildren. He leaves behind a sister Robin (Donnie) Wilson, Greenwood; a brother Chris (Holly) Wright, Mooresville; and his mother, Mary Wright of Greenwood.

Preceded: by his wife Loretta Wright; father and his brother Robert

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana from 12:00 p.m

until service at 3:00 p.m. with Deacon Jim Duvall, officiating.
