John Jacob Reutenauer

John Jacob Reutenauer, 53 passed away on September 18, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana, John was born on May 26, 1970, in Aurora, Illinois to Thomas and Ann (Borgarding) Reutenauer. He was a graduate of Schaumburg High School, Schaumburg, Illinois. He had worked for many years in the hotel valet service industry where he met most of his long-term friends and then moved on to the construction industry. John enjoyed hanging out with friends, camping, hunting, fishing, bonfires, cooking gourmet meals, playing pool, snow skiing, learning about Astrology and looking at the stars, trips to Florida to spend time with family on the beach. John was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

John is survived by his loving parents Thomas and Ann Reutenauer, siblings; Anne Zauss (Mark), Tom Reutenauer (Kelly), Sue Neufeldt (Tim), nieces and nephews; Billy Zauss, Ann Zauss, Kelsey Reutenauer (Carlos Nava), Logan Neufeldt (Nephew & Godson), great nieces; Zoe Nava and Ellie Nava.

Celebration of Life will be held in Indianapolis on Friday October 6, 2023 and on Monday October 16, 2023 in North Redington Beach, Florida.
