Joyce Ann (Carlyle) Dodd

Joyce Ann Carlyle Dodd of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021 at the age of 73.

Joyce was born on July 12, 1948 in St. Louis Missouri to the late Louis and Hilda Carlyle.

Joyce retired after an over 20 year career in retail management.

She loved camping, fishing, and sitting by a fire with the company of friends and family.

Joyce is survived by a son, Donald (Robin) Cullon of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Patricia (Larry B Pickett) Waltman of Alton, IL; five grandchildren, Kristina Penaloza, Tyler Kelly, Scott Pickett, Jeffrey Pickett and Savannah Watt; five great grandchildren, Andres Penaloza, Leo Penaloza, Ellie’Anna Kelly, Aurora Schefft and Harleigh Schefft; as well as three sisters; Karen Damazyn, Sandy Lynch and Pamela Bagby. As well her three very special, and closest friends that were like sisters to her, Kathy Guerra, Anna Hoffman, Sheri Tenorio.

She is preceded in death by her most wonderful and precious dog, and companion, Pepper; brothers, Michael, James, Richard and Martin Carlyle.

A Memorial Service  will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church (309 Hoffmeister Avenue. Lemay, Missouri. 63125) at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022. Following the services, there will be a Celebration of Joyce’s Life at Royal Orleans, (2801 Telegraph Road. St. Louis Missouri. 63125.)
