Kathy Ann (Dobbs) Cowden

Kathy Ann (Dobbs) Cowden, 68 of Indianapolis went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 30, 2024, at her residence.  She was born July 29, 1955, in Indianapolis to the late Clyde and Agnes (Nix) Dobbs.  On September 22, 1973, Kathy was joined in the union of marriage to William C. Cowden in Indianapolis.  Kathy enjoyed traveling, cake decorating, sewing, quilting, bowling, music, picture puzzles, card games, board games, dice games and camping. When Kathy was not involved in activities at her church or Awana she enjoyed spending time visiting with family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her Husband- William Cowden, Son-Brian D Cowden (Hanna), Grandsons- Waylon and Chase Cowden, Sister-Lorra Seaney (David), Brother-Tom Dobbs (Shirley). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her son Scott Cowden.

Service for Kathy will be 1:00p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Southeast Baptist Tabernacle Church, 6835 Shelbyville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. Calling will be from 11:00a.m. until the hour of service. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor John D. Ray.  Interment will follow at Rocklane Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.
