Kevin Leee Sharp, Sr.

Kevin Lee Sharp, Sr. was born the eldest son to late Mr. Earl F. Sharp and Eloise Mathis Sharp on March 06th – 1955; in a house on West 32nd Street; Indianapolis, Indiana. Both parents, preceded him in death.

Kevin – received his formal education at George Washington High School class of 1973; Indianapolis, Indiana. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Cheryl Edwards-Sharp and to this union one child was born Kevin Lee Sharp Jr.

Kevin accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. He worked at 

Herff Jones Company and retired from the Indianapolis Water Company.

Kevin loved cooking, bowling, listening to Rhythm & Blues & Jazz Music, and watching sports on ESPN – his favorite football teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs. His favorite baseball team – New York Yankees; favorite basketball team – Indiana Pacers.

Kevin Lee Sharp Sr. departed his earthly life and received his eternal life on Friday, August,02nd-2024 at the age of 69 years of age; with his brother at his side.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers: Eric V. Sharp (Karen) and Stephen V. Sharp; all of Indianapolis, Indiana. One son - Kevin Lee Sharp Jr; Indianapolis, Indiana. Three nieces: Danielle M. Sharp - Abel; Seamone G. Sharp of Indianapolis, Indiana and   Yolanda V. Sharp of McDonough, Georgia. 

Great Nieces: Bria Epps of McDonough, Georgia.  Tallulah A. Strickling of Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Great Nephews: Shedrick Smith Jr, Eric V. Smith, Trew Smith, Zion Graham and Seven Overton; all of Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Great- Great Neice: Skylar M. Adams of McDonough, Georgia

Great-Great Nephews: Eric Smith Jr; RemiihSmith and Izoe Smith – all of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Forever friend: Mr. George “Moe” Dawson

Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial and Celebration of Life services for Kevin Lee Sharp Sr. will

be held on; August 16th; 2024; at 5:00PM to 6:00PM at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church; 1301 N. Goodlet Avenue; Indianapolis, Indiana 46222
