Louis Lynn Baldwin, 78, of Greencastle, previously of Cloverdale and Quincy, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021. Louis was born on December 26, 1942, in Greencastle, to the late Richard and Leatha Smith Baldwin. Louis was married to Sharon Kay Fowler Baldwin on April 11, 1992. He was employed as a bearing grinder for 41 years at Link-Belt (Rexnord), retiring 2003. Louis was a member of the Quincy Baptist Church and a veteran of the Indiana National Guard. Louis enjoyed genealogy and the Civil War. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Society of Indiana Pioneers, Civil War Roundtable-Greencastle, Past President of the Greencastle Coin Club, and the Link-Belt Bearing Division Breakfast Club.
Louis is survived by his wife Sharon Kay Baldwin; children Richard Baldwin (Gloria) and Amanda Baldwin; stepchildren Marty Edwards (Tracy) and Anthony Edwards(Kimberly); five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in passing by his parents Richard Baldwin and Leatha Baldwin Hart, (Amos).
Services for Louis will be Friday, May 28, at 2:00 pm at the Quincy Baptist Church, with Pastor Marilyn Culler officiating. The family will receive friends, on Friday, from Noon until the hour of service at the Church. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Mannan Cemetery. Norman F. Chance Funeral and Cremation Service is conducting the services.
