Mary Ann (Suiters) Miller

Mary Ann Miller, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Community Hospital South, in Indianapolis.

Mary was born on February 27, 1941, in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of Harry Purdue and Viola Margaret (Foy) Suiters. 

She is survived by one brother- Jimmie and wife Deanna Suiters Sr. of Oblong, Illinois; one sister- Elsie and husband Jessie Pierce of Danville, Indiana, whom was both present at her bedside.  Mary also had five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son-Michael Suiters, one daughter- Tenna Suiters, five brothers and two sisters.

Mary was a member of the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church.  She worked as a housekeeper at area nursing homes and as a caregiver to their mother.  She enjoyed shopping, working in her flower garden and spending time with her grandchildren.

According to her wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  The family has entrusted the Norman F.
