Matthew Eric Allee

Matthew Eric Allee, 64, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021.  He was born February 1, 1957 to John “Archie” Allee and Iva “Bernice” (Craver, Allee) Cruz in Indiana. He spent most of his childhood raised in the home of his maternal grandparents Samuel Clifford and Iva Dell (Eudaley) Craver in Mooresville, Indiana. On September 1, 1995 he married Marsha (Uhles) Wilson in Greenwood, Indiana. Matthew enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time outdoors and making memories with his family.  Matthew was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha; his daughter Melonie (Mark) Collings of Franklin, Indiana and son Justin (Amy) Allee of McCordsville, Indiana;  grandchildren including Chelsey, Brenden, Eric, Megan, Trenton, Addison and Teagan;  great grandchildren Kaia, Samuel and Jayden;  sisters Patty, Barbara and Carolyn; as well as relatives, lifelong friends and many nieces and nephews who lovingly called him “Honey”. He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents; mother-in-law Jane Morton; father-in-law John Morton;  brother Aaron D. Allee; sister Mickey Carol; and  granddaughter Jacinda Rae. 
 

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until  service at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Assembly Of God Church, 6822 US Highway 31, Whiteland, Indiana. Arrangements entrusted to  Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
