Melissa Marie Light

Melissa Marie Light of Indianapolis passed away from this life on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the age of 51.

Melissa was born on December 19, 1969, the daughter of Patricia (Lowden) Archer, and the late Eldon Hall Light.

She was a Graduate of Manual High School, and worked as a Caregiver.

She loved cooking, and was a softball player, but she loved all sports.

Melissa is survived by her mother Patricia (Jeff) Archer; son, Lawrence Woodruff, grandson  Labrayden Woodruff;  fiance'  Orlando Burnett,  brothers, Larry Brown and Adam Archer; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father Eldon Light.

Visitation for Melissa will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
