Michael Bishop Obituary

Michael R. Bishop, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away from heart complications and Covid-19 Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the Roudebush VA Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Known to his grandkids as "Mighty Mike", he leaves behind his grandson Rio (5 months old) and granddaughter Leona (4 years old) to cherish his memory along with his daughter Mandy and son-in-law Par.

He is also survived by eight brothers and sisters, Joe (Elizabeth), Robert, Brenda (Kevin) Kyle, Barbie (Larry Morefield), Becca (Bill Shipman), Tony, Jeff, and Buffy (Jeff) Johnson as well as many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, please consider sending Hostas to be planted in the family's yard as a remembrance of him for years to come.Services will be private due to Covid-19 restrictions. PLEASE CONSIDER SENDING MEMORIES/PHOTOS to his daughter and grandchildren via email (MightyMikeMemories@gmail.com). 

A celebration of life will be scheduled once the Coronavirus pandemic subsides and those memories will be placed in a memory book.  Thank you for your love and support during this devasting tragedy.
