Mitchell James Halcomb

Mitchell James Halcomb of Greenwood, Indiana. Beloved Father, Son, Brother and Uncle passed away unexpectedly on August 27th, 2023 at the age of 30.

Mitchell is survived by his 10 year loving partner, Megan Westell, his son Levi Lenegan, daughter Aaliyah Halcomb, father Timothy Halcomb, mother Kristy Halcomb, two brothers Jeffery (Caitlyn) Dees, Shane (Sydney) Halcomb, niece Laney, nephews Jack, Max, Luka, Ozzy, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He predeceased by grandparents Stanley and Jackie Halcomb, James and Mary Rieman.

Mitchell attended Central Catholic grade school, Southport Highschool, and Kenny’s Barber School. Mitchell was a carpenter and truck driver. The many hobbies he enjoyed were woodworking, dirt bike riding, skate boarding, swimming and walks on the beach. Most of all he was blessed to have shared his life with his children Levi (Heather) and Aaliyah (Megan).

When you saw him, he was always smiling and happy. He was a very kind, hardworking, caring and loving person. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. A celebration of life gathering will be held on August 31, 2023 at N.F. Chance Funeral Home, 504 E. National Ave. Visitation is at 2:00pm with services at 3:30pm. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mitchell’s Go Fund Me account.
