Patricia Lorraine Anderson

Patricia Lorraine Anderson, 92, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on February 18, 2021 at Community Hospital South. She was born on August 1, 1928, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Rex Starns and Helen Deloris Ellis. Patricia was married to the late Robert Clinton Anderson on December 7, 1966.

Patricia was a member of Southport Presbyterian Church since 1968, she was a deacon and was also in the Duo Group. She graduated Broad Ripple High School in 1946. Patricia was an independent cosmetic sales representative for Avon for over 50 years and she was in the president’s club and was among the top in sales in the district. She retired from Avon in 2018. She owned a kennel for Saint Bernard’s and was a member of Central Indiana Saint Bernard Club. Patricia sang on WFBM-TV and radio. She loved to read in her spare time and was a pastel chalk artist.

Patricia is survived by her sons Dennis, David, and Daniel Anderson; grandchildren Patricia (Keith) Frederick, Robert Anderson, and David Chrisman; great grandchildren Alexander Hohlt, Michael Frederick, Linda and Alexandria Anderson; cousins Marie Nickerson and Joey Sabowski; sister-in-laws Lois Ousley and Mary Lou Bowers; and brother-in-law John Bender. She is preceded in passing by her parents, and husbands C. Allen Small and Robert Clinton Anderson.

Services for Patricia will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Calling will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday from noon until the hour of service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery. Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center is handling the arrangements. The family has suggested memorial gifts be given to the Humane Society.
