Sandra Joan (Cordray) Miller, 77 passed away at Morning Breeze Retirement and Healthcare in Greensburg, Indiana on the morning of March 3, 2025. She was born in Rushville, Indiana on April 15, 1947, to the late Dillard Emmett Cordray and Dorothy (Carpenter) Cordray. Sandra was joined in the union of marriage to Stephen Miller on March 10, 1995. This union endured until his passing on June 20, 2021. Sandra loved Bingo, Poker, Gin Rummy, and Euchre. On many Saturdays you might have found her participating in a friendly Euchre or Gin Rummy tournament and was known to never miss a Sunday night Bingo. Sandra and her close friend Darlene hosted many all-night Poker games and often said she could have been a professional. Sandra was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children, grand-children and her great-great grandchildren who were the light of her life.
Sandra was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her children: Pam Rudicel (Charles), Tabatha Hempstead (Treasea), Nathan Shafer (Jennifer), grandchildren; Jolyanna Shafer, Kayla Bean (Josh), Colleen Finnell (Adam), Christina Dinn, Tristina Brockman (Nate),Kassandra Rae (Jarrod), Sierra Gibson (Gannon), Tyler Yonts (Jessika), Mark McCullough, Joe McCullough, Tanner Yonts, and Nick Shafer, brother; Clyde Cordray and sister in law Sara Saxon. Also surviving are fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sandra also leaves behind good friends Darlene Roark and Linda Quinn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her sister Diana (late Frank) Stratton, her brother Charles Cordray and her granddaughter Cynthia Beth McCullough.
Funeral Service for Sandra Joan Miller will be 1:00p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Lifeline Wesleyan Church, 2002 Moscow Road, Greensburg, Indiana 47240 with calling from 11:00a.m. until the hour of service.
