Shirley Faye (Eads) Asher, 82¸of Indianapolis passed away in the afternoon of August 19, 2022, at Franciscan Health surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 20, 1940, to the late Newt Eads and Cordella (Halcomb) Sturgill. Shirley was widow of Claude Asher. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Shirley is survived by her children; Linda McKinney (Billy), Danny Asher, and Jimmy Asher (Simone), grandchildren; Shawnee Ray, Tammy Fetchik, Ryan Asher, Jennifer Asher, Gannon Asher, Joseph Fansher, Morgan Brannon and Madison Barnett, eleven great -grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, siblings; Ronnie Eads, Claude Eads (Oleane), Rodney Sturgill (Sherry) and Glenda Ogle.

Service for Shirley will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227, with calling from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Service will be conducted by Pastor John Biddle.
