Steven Allen Meadows

Steven Allen Meadows of Indianapolis passed away on February 22, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. 

He was born on October 6, 1951, to the late William B. Meadows and Beatrice (Gentry) Meadows.

On October 10, 1970, he married the love of his life, Helen Beatrice Meadows. She preceded him in passing on February 15, 2020.  Steven was a graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis. He had been employed with Naval Air Warfare Center in Indianapolis and was a proud United States Air Force Veteran.  He was active in both the American Legion and the VFW.  He had various hobbies such as jewelry making, pottery, ceramics, reading and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts as well as Indiana University Football and Basketball. Steven really enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren, brothers: Phil and Ron Meadows.

Steven is survived by his children; Marc Meadows of Lexington, South Carolina and Michelle Casey (Todd) of Greenwood, Indiana, sister in law; Debra O’Neal of Indianapolis, grandchildren; Jacob Casey, Jordan Casey, Bentley Meadows, Sadie Meadows and Brandon Meadows.

Funeral Services for Steven with Military Honors will be at 4:30p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with calling from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
