Susan Lynn Alte

Susan Lynn Alte, 56, of Indianapolis passed away April 26, 2022, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana in which Susan resided most of her life.

She was born on April 25, 1966 in Indianapolis to Dallas Victor, and Frances Kay Alte.

Susan loved her family dearly. She loved singing karaoke with George, and enjoyed playing bingo, having cookouts, camping, and listening to country music. Everyone that knew Susan knew that she loved to have fun! Oh, and we can't forget just how much she loved and adored her dog Mater!

Susan is survived by the love of her life, George; her children, Christina, David (Tanya), James, Ashley (Junior), Rochelle, Brittany, and Barbara; grandchildren, Savannah, Zach, Luke, Austin, Anastasia, Gavin, Jordan, and Emory; great grandchildren, Courtney, Jackson, Maverick, and Graceland; her siblings, Dallas (Daisy), Vicky, Debbie, Danny (Kim), and Trish; sister-in-law, Tonya; step mother, Janice; and many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Dallas and Frances (Armstrong) Alte; and brothers, Michael and Charlie.

Services for Susan will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2022, at Norman F. Chance Cremation and Funeral Service, with Cole Aldridge officiating.

Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m..

Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis.
