Family Tribute
Terri was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 19th, 1948, to her parents Lester and Betsy Sweaney. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence “Ron” Golay Sr for 59 1/2 years. Terri was a loving mother of five children and a beloved grandmother of several grandchildren. Her love for her family was indescribable and the true definition of unconditional. She will always be remembered for her love of yard sales, nick nacks and her famous words “Do you know how much I love you”.
Terri will be deeply missed by her husband Lawrence “Ron” Golay Sr., her children Kathy (David) Hagan, Keith (Tonya) Golay Sr, Brian Golay and Amanda (Jimmy) Golay. Her abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren. She also had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends that will deeply miss her.
Terri is proceeded in death by her parents Lester and Betsy Sweaney, three brothers Donnie, Jerry Lee and Lester (Buddy) Sweaney. Her oldest son Lawrence “Ronnie” Golay Jr, daughter in law Carol Ann Golay, great grandsons Shane Kernodle and Alexander Carson.
Service for Terri will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024, at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with calling from 12:00p.m. until the time of service.
