Violet Maxine (Moody) Louden Timms passed away November 17, 2021. She was born December 10, 1931 in Linton, Indiana (Greene County) to the late Orvel and Daisy (Beck) Moody. She was preceded in passing by her first husband James Louden, and second husband, Joseph Timms. Violet was a homemaker who found enjoyment in gardening, canning, and quilting. Violet had a great love and devotion to the Lord. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Violet also enjoyed watching Western Movies. She had previously been employed with Ayres in Glendale and as a postal clerk. She was a devoted volunteer for unwed mothers, in Connersville, Indiana.
Violet is survived by her children; James M. (Kathy) Louden, Steven W. (Marsha) Louden, Richard (Cindy) Louden, Gary (Stephanie) Louden, and Patricia Ball; step-children Diane Osborn, Barbara (Terry) Cooper, Sandra (Doug) Luchauer, and Joseph Timms; brother Harold (JoAnn) Moody; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and two husbands, Violet was preceded in passing by five brothers and five sisters.
Service for Violet will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 National Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana with calling from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service with Reverend Donald Thomas of The Living Waters Assembly of God in Connersville officiating. Interment to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis
