Winnona May Venzke, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away at 4:20 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019, at Franciscan Health, in Indianapolis.
Winnona was born on June 3, 1950, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Lawrence and Elizabeth May (Denison) Venzke. She is survived by seven sisters- Diana (Paul) Mangus of Indianapolis, Donna Rhynes of Indianapolis, Barbara Gann of Indianapolis, Beverly Bishop of Old Town, Florida, Apryl Leonard of Old Town, Florida, Sandra (Eddie) Parsley of Indianapolis and Deirdre Smith of Indianapolis; 18 nieces and nephews; 27 great- nieces and nephews and 19 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-John Urich.
Winnona was a former member of Blessings of Love Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, watching Food Network and making crafts. She also loved babysitting kids.
A Celebration of Winnona’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at the New Life Tabernacle Church, 1609 E. Norton, Indianapolis. She will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, at the church. The family has entrusted the Norman F.
